Editorial Guidelines
How Techsaaz researches, verifies, and publishes business listings and editorial content — our commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Our Core Editorial Principles
Everything published on Techsaaz is guided by four non-negotiable principles:
Business Directory Standards
For a business to be listed in the Techsaaz directory, it must meet the following criteria:
- Operational: The business must currently be active and operating in the United States.
- Technology-focused: The company must operate in a recognized technology sector (AI/ML, SaaS, Cybersecurity, Fintech, Hardware, etc.).
- Verifiable contacts: At minimum, a publicly available email address, phone number, and official website must be confirmed.
- Accurate description: The company description must reflect the company's actual function — no marketing copy.
- No duplicates: Each company is listed only once, using its primary headquarters location.
Listings are sourced from public records, official company websites, LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and industry databases. We do not accept payment for inclusion.
Contact Data Verification Process
All contact information in our directory goes through a multi-step verification:
- Primary source check — Data is first pulled from the company's official website.
- Cross-reference — Confirmed against LinkedIn, Crunchbase, or official press releases.
- Reachability test — Emails and phone numbers are verified to be active and associated with the listed company.
- Periodic review — Listings are reviewed on a rolling basis (at minimum every 6 months) and updated if data has changed.
If you notice outdated or incorrect contact data, please contact us and we will prioritize a review.
Blog & Article Standards
All editorial content published on the Techsaaz blog follows these standards:
- Original research: Articles are based on original research, publicly available data, or direct reporting — never rewritten from other sources without attribution.
- Fact-checked: All statistics, claims, and figures are cited with primary sources or verified independently before publication.
- No sponsored content without disclosure: Any commercially supported article is clearly labeled as "Sponsored" at the top.
- Author attribution: Every article displays the author's name and the original publication date. Significant updates are noted with an "Updated" date.
- Corrections policy: Factual errors are corrected promptly and transparently, with a correction note appended to the affected article.
